MT RAINIER ZEN
Surely this is what—
Zen Buddhism is about
Sense of Nothingness
I had to rest on—
A boulder by the river
I couldn’t go on
The immensity—
The age of the ancient
Cliffs high above me
It was like stopping—
My mere Seattle ego
Nothing but a joke
